Developed as a table device with two-hand control, the SK-cutting unit has been especially designed for the processing of shrinking tube of a width of up to 300mm (SK300) or 400mm respectively (SK400) and a maximum tubing wall thickness of 1.5mm.
The cutting head consists mainly of a depositing surface with measuring scale and a manually adjustable limit stop on the left hand side. The SK300 / SK400 is also provided with a pneumatically actuated hold-down device as well as a pneumatic cylinder with cutting knife.
The electro-pneumatic activation of the cut (triangular blade/draw cut) is released by means of the two-hand control. In order to ensure an efficient operation, the stroke of the pneumatic cylinder can be operated in both directions.
Furthermore, the SK-cutting unit is provided with a compact PLC which controls for example the cutting process as well as the two-hand control.
The cutting units of the SK-series can be supplied in further dimensions on request.
